Free places
Families who pay for tutoring and practice papers have a head start at the 11+. We want to close that gap, so 11plus4all is free for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. They get exactly the same papers, marking and explanations as everyone else.
Who can have a free place?
- Children eligible for free school meals or the pupil premium
- Children who are looked after, or were previously looked after
- Young carers and children in families on a low income
- Any child a school, charity or community group refers to us
We don't ask for proof and we don't record why a family qualifies. We trust you.
How to get one
Schools, charities and community groups: email us at [free-places email] with your organisation's name and roughly how many children you'd like codes for. We'll send you one code you can share with those families.
Families: ask your child's primary school, or email us directly. A single sentence is enough, and we'll reply with a code.
Using a code: create a free account, then enter the code on the pricing page. Every paper unlocks straight away.
How it's paid for
11plus4all pays for free places out of its own profits. Nobody else is charged extra to cover them. There's no catch and no difference in what children get.
